Parent-child biobehavioral synchrony in autism and in typical development: the enTRAIN study

Eligibility Survey

We would like to invite you to participate in a web-based online survey to determine whether you are eligible to take part in a research study conducted by the Computational Behavioral Science (CBS) Lab at Northeastern University in Boston. This research study investigates how social-emotional behaviors develop in children by looking at how people interact together, in a system, rather than by themselves. This screener survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.

We are asking you to complete this survey because you are the parent of a typically developing child or a child with an autism spectrum disorder aged 2-5 years old. You must be at least 18 years old to take this survey.

The decision to participate in this screening survey is voluntary and even if you are eligible you are not obligated to participate in the study. Even if you begin the web-based online survey, you can stop at any time.

There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts to you for taking part in this screening questionnaire. You will not be paid for completing this screener survey; if you are chosen to participate in the full research study you will be compensated for your help with that study.

Your survey answers will be handled in a confidential manner and if are not chosen to take part in the research study or if you decide not to participate, your information will be destroyed.
